Kites for a Kause
The UC Davis Afghan Student Association is hosting its first "Kites for a Kause," a festival that promises to fill the sky with kites made of bamboo and paper by Afghan children on the streets of Kabul. The Association will charge $7 for a kite and string, proceeds will go to an Afghan organization that provides food, health care, education and vocational traning. Video by Paul Kitagaki Jr.

Additional Info for Mac users: If you do not see video (after clicking 'allow'), do the following:
  1. Click on the blue "gear" icon in the lower right corner to bring up the settings window.
  2. Click on the webcam icon.
  3. If you are using a built in iSight camera, choose USB Video Class Video from the pulldown menu. You should see video immediately.

  4. Click "close" button.
  5. Record! You must record at least ten seconds before you can stop.
