Wounded Police Dog's Condition Improves
Bodie, the police dog, was shot while trying to apprehend a suspect in Land Park, Sacramento, Friday, May 18, 2012. He is recovering at VCA Veterinary Referral Center. Bodie entered in critical but stable condition and underwent surgery and is now making progress in his recovery. Donations can be made at www.spdk9.org. Video by Autumn Cruz, produced by Scott R. It's so horrible when a police dog (or person) is injured or murdered for doing their job. But humans know the odds of their getting hurt, dogs don't. Get well, Bodi.
