Book of Dreams: Thermal Bears for Kids with Juvenile Arthritis

Macy Coad is 5-years-old and has juvenile arthritis which requires her to take many medications and get weekly shots to control it. She gets comfort from a special thermal teddy bear which can be heated in the microwave and applied to sore joints. The local Arthritis Foundation is asking Book of Dreams readers to donate money to buy backpacks for kids with arthritis that includes one of these bears and educational material.
